custom calligraphy process

 

1/ complimentary consulation

Once we’ve received your inquiry, we will determine a separate date for your complimentary consultation. We’ll talk through your vision and what goods you’d like us to create for you. 

The more inspiration the better. Feel free to pass along any photos, blog posts, or Pinterest boards that inspire you. If you haven’t begun a mood board, we’ll happily walk you through how it can help focus your vision or bring together the tone for your big day or project.

2/ proposal 

Once all parties have a clear understanding of the vision, budget, and expectations we will provide a design proposal, custom work agreement, and rough quote for your deliverables. 

Once the proposal is agreed upon you will be asked to put down a non-refundable 50% deposit to secure your spot in the schedule, and ensure your commitment. This will be credited towards your final invoice. At this time we'll also agree on your project timeline, including hard deadlines as well as information submission dates for wording and addresses (if applicable).

3/ design

Your proposal is signed, sealed, and now it’s our time to deliver! Each custom design process includes three rounds of revision. Once the final design is signed off, no further changes can be made, without additional cost. Please allow up to 8 weeks for this process - a rush option may be available upon request. 

4/ production + delivery

Once your digital proofs are approved, designs will be sent to print or production. At this time you will receive an invoice for the remainder of your balance. Once payment has been received, your goods will be packaged and shipped to you. You'll receive the tracking details once goods are mailed.
